Anil > 04 Dec 06 - Dusk over New York's West-side.
Did a bit of PP; blotted out window lights on the buildings to get a better silhouette and to enhance the focus on the setting light.

Anil > 03 Dec 06 - Back to my bridge series! No. 5; Tappan-Zee Bridge, crosses Hudson River connecting Nyack and Sleepy Hollow, New York. Spans 3 miles shore-to-shore; a Cantilever bridge, named after an Indian tribe from the area.

Anil > 02 Dec 06 - The Christmas tree at Rockefellar Center (Manhattan 47-50th St. 5th Ave) was lit earlier this week marking the beginning of the holiday season. The tree is 80ft tall this year.

Anil > 01 Dec 06 - Snowflake Light & Music display on SAKS 5th Ave; Was on long-exposure when this school bus with starry-eyed kids pulled up in the frame.

Anil > 30 Nov 06 - Verrazano-Narrows Bridge; 4th in the series on NYC bridges
USA's largest suspension bridge (Golden Gate is 2nd) & 7th in the world, connects Staten Island & Brooklyn. You pay $9 to cross it!

Anil > 29 Nov 06 - Nebula of lights; Jersey City boardwalk.

Anil > 28 Nov 06 - George Washington Bridge; 3rd largest Span (1.5 Miles) in USA and 3rd in my NYC bridge series.
Had a tough time getting a vantage to shoot from; used Google Maps to find a spot; was warned for trespassing on private property :)
Not a great evening to shoot due to haze - but had to get the daily in!!

Anil > 26 Nov 06 - Manhattan Bridge, NYC : Intend to capture each of the 12 major bridges that connect New York City; this is bridge No.2 after Brooklyn Bridge - so bear with me if it seems repetitive :)

Anil > 25 Nov 06 - Here's my first attempt at shooting a bird (drove miles for this!) - No where close to Sean's Eagle; TomL's Finch, Thusie's & Vandana's Hawk, Andrea's Wren, Kim's Bandit Gang - but then, I've added a serenading Swan to the list :)

Anil > The Last Leaf: This was among the first pictures I took after I upgraded my camera recently; however, would like to post it in the dailies.
The leaf was about 25 ft. above the ground; perfectly angled to catch the sunlight - there was no breeze and thankfully my hands didn't shake :)
