"Don't let the Earth in me subside..." - Avenue of Hope (I Am Kloot).

Here are postcards from a 2000-mile road trip from Dallas, TX, to the Four Corners region (where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico converge). In four days, over Thanksgiving, encountered extreme weather - thunderstorms, snow, freezing wind and eventually a little sunshine - while exploring Bisti Badlands (a 4000-acre region with extra-terrestrial landscape created by a juxtaposition of sandstone, clay and coal weathered by the elements), Mesa Verde (a region where the earliest American-Indians established their settlements) and miles of open road in between.
